I have been busy reading instructions, asking for advice, filling out forms and gathering evidence for the last few days now. This is in preparation for my application to remove conditions of my residency. This is what life of an immigrant is like, lol. I am doing all these while the husband is at work. We agreed that I am capable (yeah, right!) of doing this and so I am delegated to do the paperwork while he works. All he has to do is sign the form and of course provide for the fee. The requirements are almost complete and I only need minute details to iron out and we should be ready to submit the application in a day or two. I pray they will not ask for an interview just like what happened to my adjustment of status where I got my resident card in the mail after months of waiting. No interview, no RFE's.
The little man did everything to divert my attention earlier while I was making sure everything in the list was checked. He is not used to me not spending time with him before his nap and I felt guilty but I have to do this to get it out of the way. At least after we submit the application then we only have to wait. And I can spend more time with him while waiting. I tried to explain earlier but you know what it is like talking to a toddler. Good thing I had some puffs and yogurt for him to settle him down. I will wait for the husband's decision when to mail the application. If it is up to him, he would have submitted it months ago even if I told him we have to wait for the right time where we are allowed to send in the packet. I hope we don't have to wait too long.
