I tried my hand at baking Monay. This is the kind of bread I grew up eating. This kind is readily available at bakeshops (bakery) in the Philippines. It is sweet and dense and is a good partner for coffee for breakfast. This was my first attempt which fortunately resulted in an edible batch, lol. The little man and I devoured whatever little amount I made. We will try this again in the future because in as much as I love this bread I do not think it is good eaten everyday especially if eaten in more than one serving. Even the husband was amazed at the flavor and with the fact that I actually baked something edible. He said I should make more. I know I will, it is just a matter of when.
