I made a little garden in our backyard. I have a few vegetables in there that I normally only see at the Asian stores like (yard-long) string beans, long and skinny eggplants, squash, and sweet potatoes. There are also plants like okra, zucchini, cabbage, tomatoes, onions, bell peppers, and chilies. Then there are lemongrass, moringa, purple spinach, and lime as well. I made a mess in the yard, planting everything I can think of everywhere that it is starting to look like a jungle in there. The husband is not happy with that so I promised him that next time I will try to stay within the garden so we can keep things tidy. The picture with this post is I think my first bean harvest. It was not much but it was enough for one meal.
