valuable coins

The stepson came to visit us the other day bearing silver and old coins him and his father accumulated years before. He said he found them in his mom's garage and he wanted to show his father (I don't see why) the loot. Apparently, he forgot about them even with the incessant reminders from his father. They talked about where the coins were bought and the value of the coins when they bought it and the possible value now. The husband said his son could probably get a good sum for the coins but it will not be the same if he traded Gold for Cash because gold is worth more. But whatever the case, as long as his son gets money he still gets a good deal, I think. To think that he already forgot about the coins being in existence. Good thing the coins are not gold because if it were, I doubt he would have find them at all.
