lactose intolerance

Sadly I have lactose intolerance. I have had this since I was in college. I don't know what caused this and I only remember this problem after I eat anything with lots of milk in it. Ice cream is fine but eating cereal with milk is bad. And I mean bad. I don't want to gross you all out so I am not telling it in detail, lol. It used to be fun to think that I was different but when I think about it now I realize it isn't good for my health. I don't know what's the cure for this (if there ever is any). It is really uncomfortable most times when I forget that I have this predicament, especially now that I am craving to eat cereal for breakfast every single day. I guess it is time to start searching online for possible cure for lactose intolerance.

I'm lactose intolerant too, and let me tell you... there is no cure. I've tried the various "treatments" with no luck. I've tried taking Lactaid before having dairy, with no luck. You just need to avoid milk products. Luckily, there are many alternatives, many made of Soy.

I'm genetically predisposed to lactose intolerance (my mom is LI, and so was her mom), and my siblings have it too. It can be so frustrating to live a lactose-free life in a lactose-full world. Just try eating out and not having a default of some lactose in your meal. I got so fed up, I started a website about it. Now I tell others with LI and milk allergies about my own experiences.

surprisingly i am the only one in the family who have it...i sure hope there was a cure but if there isn't then i will just have to live with it..thankfully i am not really into dairy products much i only fix some when i have the cravings for it..as for the soymilk i tried it before it made me dizzy for some reason, i couldn't explain how it happened..
